Context
4 Cycladic Head There is a horizontal break across the face. The end of the nose, part of the left cheek, and part of the back of the head are missing. Otherwise, the surface is in good condition. This fragment from a statuette or, technically, a small statue, has flat contours and a pyramidal nose in relief. It came from a female figure of developed type. The size of this head made the complete figure more unusual than the other, smaller statuettes in the Robinson-Harvard collections. Cornelius Vermeule and Amy Brauer
