Technical Observations

The patina features green and red corrosion over blackish-brown surface; brown burial accretions are also present. The object is incomplete, and there are deformations along the strip as well as breaks at both ends. 
 
The object was made by hammering. An incised decorative line is visible in one area under the corrosion and encrustations. It is possible that there is more decoration beneath the corrosion.
